‘Hunt For The Secret Superstar’

Children are God’s greatest gift to us and we are blessed to have them in our lives. Orphans have been dealt a hard blow in life and we should consider it a privilege to be able to offer a measure of comfort and pleasure to them.
Keeping this in mind, Care For You arranged a song and dance competition: “ Hunt for the Secret Superstar” between the orphanages of Ahmednagar district. This was held from July- September 2018.
The competition consisted of 3 rounds. On 14th July 2018, the 1st round of auditions was organized at Hundekari lawns. 20 orphanages and 250 children participated and all the performances were streamed live on Facebook. The solo and group performances awed the judges by way of versatility and sheer outstanding untapped talent.
The 2nd audition was conducted on 5th August 2018 at Premraj Sarda College, Ahmednagar
for 100 children from 15 organizations.
The Grand Finale, a spectacular event was held on 8th September 2018 at Sahakar Sabhagruha, Ahmednagar in which 50 finalists from 6 orphanages performed and we were treated to a special dance performance by physically challenged children. The 500 invitees were enthralled and spellbound with the performances of the children.
We have supported every shortlisted participant by arranging for training every weekend in their respective fields.
The winners of this competition shall be supported by Care For You for the next 3 years in order to groom their talent. We shall strive to give them an appropriate platform to showcase and excel in their chosen field.
